Jones Point Park | Family Session | Field Family

Hola my friends!

I’m so excited about the family I’m blogging about today. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve photographed one of the Field family’s children last summer. She did a beautiful job helping with out with some portfolio work. And now, this past weekend I was lucky enough to photograph the whole family before they pack up to move to Germany! I will be honest, the selfish side of me doesn’t want them to go, but oh, the adventures they will have! I can’t wait to follow along from afar.

We lucked out with beautiful weather, albeit chilly, but beautiful the day of their session. The day before we had every type of weather you can imagine, snow, sleet, rain, you name it, we had it. I saw the sun come out that morning and decided it would be perfect.

I met them up at Jones Point Park, right along the Potomac River under the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. I love this location! We made our way around the path, by the lighthouse and on our way out of the other side, the light was shining through the trees so scrumptiously…so naturally I made them stop there for another round of pictures.
