Birkenstock Family | Snicker’s Gap Tree Farm

Hey, hey everyone! I’ve got a good one for you today!

Oh how I just love the family I’m blogging about today. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve photographed the Birkenstock family before! I truly can’t believe how much the children have grown and changed since I first met them. The girls have so much fun energy, and they’re so smart! I loved the conversations, dancing, and using some pine needles as a hair brush. Ha!
The weather played some games with us when we were scheduling their session so we had to reschedule for a bit later and when Christine asked if I would photograph them at the tree farm when they go to select their Christmas Tree I absolutely said “Of Course!”. We both agreed that it would be cool to document the process of them selecting their perfect tree and grab a few normal family photos while we were at it. These were also going to be very special because their au pair is leaving soon, which after this much time, is so difficult as she has become like another daughter and friend to them. I know the girls will miss her immensely. All the more reason to have these special photos!

And as for the day of the shoot, I had so much fun following them around as they picked out the perfect Christmas tree out at Snicker’s Gap Tree Farm. They had a pretty great time, too.
